Breast Surgery Photo Instructions
- Choose a well-lit area: Ensure the room is well lit using natural light or soft artificial light.
Background: Stand against a plain background without patterns or distractions. - Camera position: Use a tripod or stand to position the camera straight at chest height.
- Body position: Keep your hands relaxed at your sides.
- Angles needed: Take photos from the front, quarter turn left, full turn left, quarter turn right, and full turn right. Please also include an individual photo of any specific area you would like to discuss during your consultation.
- Clothing: For an accurate evaluation, your chest must be fully visible in the photos. Please do not wear a bra, top, or covering garment. This allows Dr. Hamwi to clearly assess the nipple area and overall breast shape, which is essential for surgical planning.
Note: The example photos shown use a modesty garment for general instruction purposes only. For medical review, we require clear, unclothed photos of the chest area.
Body Liposuction, Tummy Tuck and General Body Procedures Photo Instructions
- Choose a well-lit area: Ensure the area is well lit, avoiding overhead lights that create shadows.
- Background: Stand against a plain, light-colored wall.
- Camera position: Set the camera on a surface or tripod at belly button level.
- Body position: Spread your legs slightly so they are not touching. Put your arms out at your sides at 90 degrees with your elbows bent at 90 degrees.
- Angles needed: Take 8 photos, rotating 45 degrees with each pose: front, front quarter turn left, left side, back left quarter turn, straight back, back right quarter turn, right side, and front right quarter turn. Please also include an individual photo of any specific area you would like to discuss during your consultation.
- Clothing: Wear minimal clothing such as underwear or a swimsuit that consistently shows the treated areas.
Facial Surgery Photo Instructions
- Choose a well-lit area: Take photos in a room with good lighting. Natural light is best, but avoid direct sunlight.
- Background: Use a plain, light-colored wall as a background.
- Camera position: Position the camera at eye level. Use a tripod or stand to avoid shaky photos.
- Face position: Make sure your chin is level and not tilted up or down.
- Angles needed: Take photos from the front, quarter turn left, full turn left, quarter turn right, and full turn right. Please also include an individual photo of any specific area you would like to discuss during your consultation. For quarter turn photos, turn your whole body, not just your face and neck.
- Expression: Keep a neutral expression with your eyes looking straight ahead.
