Sia is a Certified Physician Assistant with a strong foundation in dermatology and aesthetics. She earned her Biology degree from Quinnipiac University, followed by a Master’s degree from the University of Bridgeport’s Physician Assistant Institute. Early in her career, Sia focused on dermatology, which led to her passion for aesthetic medicine. She’s also one of the few qualified hair transplant Physician Assistants in Florida, trained by some of the industry’s top surgeons.

Sia is dedicated to facial aging and rejuvenation, combining the art and science of aesthetics to provide personalized treatment for each patient. She offers natural, long-lasting results using injectables, lasers, skincare, and other non-invasive treatments, and she’s always committed to helping patients feel confident and refreshed. When not assisting Dr. Hamwi in surgery, Sia can be found in the medspa, where her skills in aesthetic medicine shine. Sia’s vibrant personality adds harmony to the office, with a unique background that includes singing in a rock band and studying opera during high school. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends and is eager to travel and explore new places.

Born and raised in the vibrant city of St. Petersburg, Rachael brings a deep passion for results-driven skincare and transformative treatments to our practice. Her go-to product, Skinbetter’s AlphaRet, is a favorite in her regimen for delivering exceptional, visible results. Rachael is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their best skin, emphasizing the importance of sunscreen as the ultimate anti-aging secret. She’s committed to educating her patients at every step, believing that knowledge is the key to long-term success.

Outside the treatment room, Rachael enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two young daughters, exploring the outdoors. As a true nature enthusiast, she frequently escapes to the serene mountains of Colorado and Utah to recharge. Alex is a native Floridian, born and raised in Miami, who is excited to be back in the Sunshine State and now proudly calls Sarasota home. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marshall University before beginning her nursing career in the Emergency Department, where she built a strong clinical foundation in fast-paced, critical care. She later transitioned to the NICU, further refining her precision, attention to detail, and compassionate approach to patient care.

Alex's passion for aesthetics began from the patient chair. After becoming a client at a medspa, she quickly fell in love with the confidence that aesthetic medicine can provide and was inspired to turn that passion into a career. Now, with four years of experience as an aesthetic injector, she is dedicated to combining the science and artistry of aesthetics to create beautiful, natural-looking results.

She believes the best aesthetic outcomes aren't about changing how someone looks, they're about enhancing what already makes each person uniquely beautiful. Alex specializes in natural facial balancing and creates personalized treatment plans designed to restore harmony, refresh the face, and help patients look like the best version of themselves.

Before returning to Florida, Alex and her family spent several years living in Charlotte, North Carolina. She has been married to her husband for four years, and together they have a two-year-old daughter who is her favorite little sidekick and greatest joy.

Outside the office, Alex enjoys reading, exploring new restaurants and coffee shops, working out, trying the latest fitness classes, and spending quality time with her family.

Alex is passionate about building lasting relationships with her patients and believes every treatment should be thoughtfully customized to each individual's goals. Her mission is to help every patient feel confident, refreshed, and authentically themselves through balanced, personalized aesthetic care.

After years of visiting Sarasota each summer, Jill recently made the exciting move from Connecticut to Florida, bringing with her a strong background in aesthetic plastic surgery and a passion for helping clients look and feel their best. As a student at the University of South Florida with aspirations in medicine, she combines her commitment to patient care with a growing foundation in the medical field. Her warmth and dedication ensure that every patient feels welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive.

Jill enjoys the ZO Skin Health line, especially the Complexion Renewal Pads, and loves sharing her favorite products with patients. Outside of work, she can often be found exploring Sarasota with her family and three dogs, enjoying the vibrant local lifestyle she’s come to know so well.

With over 15 years of medical experience, Jena brings a deep passion for aesthetics and patient care to every aspect of her work. Her journey in plastic surgery began in 2008, where she honed her skills in both surgical and non-surgical treatments, allowing her to combine artistry with science to help patients achieve their aesthetic goals.

Throughout her career, patient care has remained her top priority. She strives to ensure that each individual feels comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their transformation—whether they’re undergoing a surgical procedure or an advanced medspa treatment. Seeing patients gain confidence and embrace their beauty is what truly fuels her passion. As a Florida native, she has a deep love for the outdoors, especially spending time at the beach. When she is not in the office, you can find her biking, practicing Pilates, or creating special memories with her husband and her three amazing boys.

With more than a decade of experience in the medical field, Ashley is a Certified Medical Assistant dedicated to delivering an exceptional patient experience through compassionate, personalized care. While working full-time in dermatology, she earned her Associate of Applied Science in Legal Support and Services, ultimately realizing her true passion was in healthcare. Since then, she has devoted her career to helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and supported throughout every step of their aesthetic journey.

A Florida native, Ashley enjoys spending time outdoors, discovering hidden local gems, soaking up the sunshine, traveling, playing basketball, and exploring with her dog. She also has a passion for reading books focused on personal growth, psychology, and wellness. Ashley believes that genuine compassion and meaningful connections are at the heart of both outstanding patient care and a fulfilling life.

A true Floridian at heart, Kristin grew up in Sarasota and received her Bachelor of Nursing degree from the University of Florida. She went on to earn her master’s in anesthesia at the University of Miami and has been a practicing certified registered nurse anesthetist for the past seven years. Kristin and Dr. Hamwi met while working in Washington, DC. They were drawn to each other’s energetic personalities and connected over their passion for helping others.

Being married to a plastic surgeon, Kristin’s interest in aesthetics grew, and she became a certified injector in 2016. She is also a student of healthy lifestyles and skin care. Kristin brings a holistic aesthetics approach to the practice. Together, this dynamic duo is committed to providing the best treatments and care for their patients. Kristin is a true travel buff and has proudly visited 18 different countries and counting! Kristin enjoys chatting with our international patients about some of her favorite locales and sights. When not at work, she can be found with their four children splashing around in the pool or collecting seashells at the beach.

Danaisa has 13 years of experience working in surgical and non-surgical dermatology and plastic surgery. She works directly with patients in preparing them for their procedures, assisting during operations, and following up as they recover. Danaisa graduated with her nursing degree from Southern Technical College. She loves seeing the transformation people experience after a procedure and how confident it can make them feel.

Danaisa is a sweetheart, yet she will tell you it’s all about her sweet tooth. Danaisa will happily refill the office candy dish upon request. In her personal time, Danaisa loves her role as a Mom and spending time with her daughter.

Scarlett brings over 15 years of experience in plastic surgery, combining expertise with a compassionate, personal touch. As the first employee at our practice, she helped shape the seamless patient experience we provide today, ensuring every patient feels informed and supported from consultation to surgery, whether local or international.
Having worked alongside renowned plastic surgeons, Scarlett now partners closely with Dr. Hamwi to offer personalized care throughout the process. Her deep understanding of surgery helps anticipate patient needs and concerns, ensuring a smooth experience.

Fluent in English and German, Scarlett connects with a diverse range of patients. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, traveling with her husband, and spending time with her two rescue dogs.

Joann, a Florida native born in the vibrant city of Fort Lauderdale, has cultivated an impressive career trajectory in healthcare management, particularly specializing in the dynamic field of Plastic Surgery and aesthetics. Over the last two decades, she has dedicated herself to optimizing business operations and ensuring the satisfaction of both employees and patients. Her journey in Plastic Surgery and Med Spa management spans an impressive 15 years, during which she has honed her expertise in streamlining processes, fostering a positive work environment, and orchestrating exceptional patient experiences. As the Director of Operations at Florida Plastic Surgery and Med Spa, Joann brings a unique blend of strategic vision and compassionate leadership. Joann’s life outside of work is enriched by cherished moments spent with her husband, adult children, and their beloved mini-Shih-Tzu. As the Office Manager at Florida Plastic Surgery and Medspa, Deanna plays an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation of the practice. While much of her work takes place behind the scenes, her warmth and compassion are evident in every patient interaction. A natural leader, Deanna cultivates a positive and productive atmosphere for the entire team, offering unwavering support. With a strong background in management and aesthetics, she is an invaluable asset to the practice.

Having lived in Florida for 15 years, Deanna has fully embraced the Sarasota lifestyle while keeping close connections to her home state of Rhode Island, where she frequently visits family. She values spending quality time with her teenage daughter, friends, and loved ones, bringing the same care and commitment to her personal life that she dedicates to her professional role.

Originally from Massachusetts, Julianna is our dedicated Marketing Coordinator at Florida Plastic Surgery and Medspa. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for creativity and aesthetics, she leads our marketing efforts, developing strategies that resonate with our community and beyond. Julianna’s expertise in digital marketing ensures effective communication of our commitment to excellence and patient care.

Outside of work, Julianna loves exploring Florida with her dog and fiancé, and doing house renovations. She also maintains a strong commitment to fitness, which fuels her energy and creativity outside of the office.

Blerta is a compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Coordinator at a renowned Florida Plastic Surgery and MedSpa. Originally from Michigan, she relocated to Florida with her family in 2021 to embrace the sunshine and coastal lifestyle. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Wayne State University and with over a decade of experience in the beauty industry, Blerta combines professionalism, expertise, and a genuine care for others in her work. She is passionate about creating positive, personalized experiences for each patient, ensuring they feel truly valued and supported throughout their journey.

Outside of her professional life, Blerta enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring the outdoors through hiking, immersing herself in classic literature, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

As a licensed aesthetician, Ariana earned her certification from Luxemore Beauty Academy in Tampa.
