Scarlett-Office Manager
With over 15 years of experience in the medical and aesthetic field, Scarlett brings exceptional organizational skills and a compassionate approach to her role as Plastic Surgery Scheduler and Office Manager at Florida Plastic Surgery and Medspa. Scarlett’s background in plastic surgery ensures that every patient’s journey, from initial consultation to post-operative care, is seamless and stress-free.
Known for her meticulous attention to detail and her ability to manage complex schedules efficiently, Scarlett is dedicated to providing the highest level of care and support. Her warm demeanor and proactive problem-solving skills help create a welcoming and professional environment for everyone who walks through the doors.
Scarlett knows the ins and outs of the Sarasota area. Her knowledge is always appreciated by the many patients who travel for surgery with Dr. Hamwi. At nine years old, Scarlett moved to sunny Florida from Berlin, Germany. She is also bilingual, which has proven to be a valuable asset for our international patients. In her free time, Scarlett enjoys spending time with her husband and two rescue dogs, as well as traveling and visiting her family in Germany.
Luz-Patient Concierge
Luz is our Patient Concierge here at Florida Plastic Surgery and Medspa. Originally from Connecticut, Luz moved to Florida six years ago. She brings almost 30 years of experience in the medical field to our practice and loves helping patients with scheduling complimentary in-person or virtual consultations.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her children and exploring more of Florida. Luz keeps us all moving. When not assisting our patients, Luz is only too happy to lead our team in her favorite form of dance — The Salsa!
Julianna-Marketing Coordinator
Originally from Massachusetts, Julianna is our dedicated Marketing Coordinator at Florida Plastic Surgery and Medspa. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for creativity and aesthetics, she leads our marketing efforts, developing strategies that resonate with our community and beyond. Julianna’s expertise in digital marketing ensures effective communication of our commitment to excellence and patient care.
Outside of work, Julianna loves exploring Florida with her dog and fiancé, and doing house renovations. She also maintains a strong commitment to fitness, which fuels her energy and creativity outside of the office.
Joann-Director of Operations
Joann, a Florida native born in the vibrant city of Fort Lauderdale, has cultivated an impressive career trajectory in healthcare management, particularly specializing in the dynamic field of Plastic Surgery and aesthetics. Over the last two decades, she has dedicated herself to optimizing business operations and ensuring the satisfaction of both employees and patients. Her journey in Plastic Surgery and Med Spa management spans an impressive 15 years, during which she has honed her expertise in streamlining processes, fostering a positive work environment, and orchestrating exceptional patient experiences.
As the Director of Operations at Florida Plastic Surgery and Med Spa, Joann brings a unique blend of strategic vision and compassionate leadership. She is recognized for her unwavering commitment to excellence, demonstrated through her tireless efforts to enhance every aspect of the patient’s journey. Joann’s dedication to her craft is evident in the seamless operation of the facility and the consistently high level of patient satisfaction.
Joann’s life outside of work is enriched by cherished moments spent with her husband, adult children, and their beloved mini-Shih-Tzu. Additionally, Joann indulges her passion for travel and live music concerts, relishing the opportunity to explore new destinations and immerse herself in the rhythm of the music scene during her spare moments.

Sia-PA-C-Physician Assistant/Healing Specialist
Sia is a special soul who always brings a whole lot of harmony to the office — back in high school, Sia was a singer in a rock and roll band and studied opera! When not enjoying music, Sia enjoys spending her time outdoors with family and friends. She looks forward to traveling to new destinations in the future.
Danaisa-RN
Danaisa has 13 years working in surgical and non-surgical dermatology and plastic surgery. She works directly with patients in preparing them for their procedures, assisting during operations, and following up as they recover. Danaisa graduated with her nursing degree from Southern Technical College. She loves seeing the transformation people experience after a procedure and how confident it can make them feel.
Danaisa is a sweetheart, yet she will tell you it’s all about her sweet tooth. Danaisa will happily refill the office candy dish upon request. In her personal time, Danaisa loves her role as a Mom and spending time with her daughter.
Dianna-RN
When Dianna is not at work, you can find her with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring new places around town with family and friends, and planning her next vacation.
Sarah-Aesthetician
Sarah O’Hara Sutton comes to us from Naperville, IL with over 18 years of medical spa experience. Sarah is an accomplished licensed Medical Aesthetician. She enjoys learning about the newest advancements in skincare and the ever-evolving aesthetic industry. Her passion is helping patients find personalized skincare treatments & products designed to address their individual skin concerns. With a patient-centered approach and unwavering attention to detail, Sarah is dedicated to achieving exceptional results that boost her patients’ self-confidence and overall well-being.
Sarah has collaborated with world-renowned dermatologists and developed an expertise in identifying skin issues. By ensuring patients are well-informed about their concerns, procedures, and products, she fosters trust and builds enduring relationships.
Sarah will also work closely with Dr. Hamwi, to complement and enhance his work. She is thrilled to be part of a team of dedicated professionals who prioritize the patient experience and well-being in a beautiful and uplifting environment. She is eager to assist you in showcasing your best self!
On her time off, Sarah enjoys cooking healthy meals, weight lifting, and working on various home projects. She loves spending time with family and exploring the many hidden gems of Florida with her husband Scott & their mini goldendoodle Jasper.
Amy-Aesthetician
Amy is a true Floridian with over 20 years of experience in the skincare industry. Specializing in microneedling, permanent makeup, and comprehensive skincare, Amy is dedicated to delivering result-driven treatments. Her passion for beauty began with makeup, where she was recognized as one of the top 5 Artists in the USA by Trish McEvoy Cosmetics in 2011.
With an artistic eye and a bubbly personality, Amy brings a unique touch to her work, ensuring her patients not only look their best but also feel their best. Outside of work, she is an exotic cat lover who enjoys hot yoga and hiking with her daughters. Amy’s commitment to her craft and her warm, engaging nature make her a standout in the world of skincare.
Kristin-CRNA
A true Floridian at heart, Kristin grew up in Sarasota and received her Bachelor of Nursing degree from the University of Florida. She went on to earn her master’s in anesthesia at the University of Miami and has been a practicing certified registered nurse anesthetist for the past seven years.
Kristin and Dr. Hamwi met while working in Washington, DC. They were drawn to each other’s energetic personalities and connected over their passion for helping others.
Being married to a plastic surgeon, Kristin’s interest in aesthetics grew, and she became a certified injector in 2016. She is also a student of healthy lifestyles and skin care. Kristin brings a holistic aesthetics approach to the practice. Together, this dynamic duo is committed to providing the best treatments and care for their patients.
Kristin is a true travel buff and has proudly visited 18 different countries and counting! Kristin enjoys chatting with our international patients about some of her favorite locales and sights. When not at work, she can be found with their three children splashing around in the pool or collecting seashells at the beach.
