What Options for Brow Lift Can I Choose From?
There are three primary ways in which a brow lift can be conducted. Depending on the severity of your situation, your hairline, and other factors, Dr. Hamwi may recommend one method over the other. Dr. Hamwi’s preferred techniques include:
Coronal Brow Lift
A coronal incision brow lift creates an incision across the top of the head from ear to ear. The skin is lifted off the forehead, and muscles are adjusted accordingly. The brow lift scar is concealed well within the hairline.
Endoscopic Brow Lift
An endoscopic brow lift uses a small tube with a camera on the end and special instruments to make small incisions within the hairline. This allows Dr. Hamwi to correct the visible creases within the forehead by adjusting the tissues and muscles beneath the skin.
Temporal Brow Lift
The temporal lift is a minimally invasive procedure that your facial cosmetic surgeon can perform under local anesthesia in the office. It is essentially a scaled-back version of the minimally invasive endoscopic brow lift and can produce excellent results with minimal downtime.
