Since settling in Florida, patients have traveled from all over the country and many places across the globe to have surgery with Dr.Hamwi.

Dining and Shopping
St. Armands Circle
With more than 130 Boutiques, specialty shops, galleries, and restaurants, St. Armands Circle is a great place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at one of its many sidewalk restaurants and cafes.
There are also frequent events including craft festivals and sidewalk sales, as well as an enjoyable nightlife scene.
Waterside Place
To visit Sarasota’s first lake front shopping destination, just steps from our office, we recommend Waterside Place.
There is a Farmers’ Market every Sunday and there is often live music on The Plaza. Whether it’s food, shopping, nightlife or just a beautiful walk, Waterside Place has it all!

University Town Center is a shopping center with a variety of dining and shopping options that is located less than 4 miles from our office. There are a wide variety of popular restaurants as well as high-end shops to browse. Some popular places to eat are at Brio, the Capital Grille and the Rusty Bucket.
Local Attractions
The Ringling Museum
The Ringling museum is found on a 66 acre estate owned by John and Mable Ringling. The museum houses fascinating exhibitions from around the world, as well as classical sculptures-many of which are scattered throughout its beautiful courtyard.
Visiters can also explore the Ringling Circus Museum, Ca’ d’Zan (the Ringling family home), The Bayfront Gardens and the historic Asolo Theater.
Fabulous Beaches
While in Sarasota, make sure you visit some of our beautiful beaches including the stunning Siesta Key and Lido Key.
Take a dip in the warm waters or just relax on the white sand.
Arriving By Air
If you are traveling for an in-person consultation or procedure, we recommend that you fly into either Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) or Tampa International Airport (TPA).
SRQ is 9 miles (20 minute drive) from Florida Plastic Surgery and Medspa
TPA is 60 miles (1 hour drive) from Florida Plastic Surgery and Medspa
Ground Transportation Options
Rental car operations can be found at either the SRQ or TPA airport. Both Uber and Lyft are excellent transportation options as well.
